Free cost of living event in Worthing this November

Are you worried about the cost of heating your home this winter?
On Thursday 14th November 2024 we will be hosting a free event for anyone worried about the cost of living and rising energy costs.
Taking place in the Gordon Room at Worthing Town Hall from 2pm to 5pm, it will feature advice and guidance from a host of organisations, including free energy advice service LEAP.
Representatives from Southern Water, Citizens Advice, Guild Care, Carers Support West Sussex, West Sussex Mind and our wellbeing team will be on hand to explain what support they can offer, and there will be the opportunity to undergo an in-person benefit check to see if you are eligible to make a claim.
We'll also be holding a small raffle for a chance to go home with some useful prizes.
There's no need to sign up in advance - just come along on the day.
A similar event will be taking place in Adur in December.
